美国开车族在今年劳工节期间加油时，支付了有史以来最高价格。美国汽车协会（AAA）最新数据显示，周一（7日）美国普通无铅汽油全国平均价格为每加仑4.15美元，创下美国历年劳工节最高价格纪录。
AAA说道，在此之前，汽油价格在劳工节期间从未突破每加仑4美元，先前纪录是在2012年9月3日创下的每加仑3.82美元。
尽管目前油价已低于今年5月创下的每加仑4.56美元高点，但AAA数据显示，当前仍较一年前开车族支付的平均3.20美元高出约30%。
租车公司赫兹（Hertz）的数据显示，劳工节假期是美国全年最繁忙出行周末之一，这意味着今年假期期间公路旅行成本可能比往年更高。
AAA发言人Brittany Moye表示：「汽油需求通常会在夏季驾车出行旺季结束后下降，这往往会带动价格走低，但今年较高原油成本抵消了这一季节性趋势。」
AAA数据还显示，周一柴油价格达到每加仑5.90美元，一年前仅3.71美元。上周美国柴油价格已写下历史新高。
