研调机构 Counterpoint Research 指出，随着折痕控制、机身重量及萤幕设计持续改善，全球折叠手机市场正迎来新一波成长。Counterpoint Research 预估，2026年全球折叠手机出货量将年增21%；折叠手机面板出货量则预计成长24%至2,750万片，面板营收年增48%至44亿美元。
随着折叠手机技术日趋成熟，市场竞争正从「能否可靠折叠」转向更接近传统旗舰手机的使用体验，其中折痕、重量、厚度与耐用度成为影响消费者采用的重要因素。
目前品牌与供应链正从超薄玻璃（UTG）、光学透明胶（OCA）、支撑结构、铰链及材料工程等多方面改善折痕。Samsung最新Flex Titanium架构即透过钛合金薄膜与支撑结构，强化萤幕支撑及改善折痕表现。
Counterpoint Research分析师Enze Qi 表示，未来折叠萤幕竞争将不再取决於单一材料或零组件，而是玻璃、黏着材料、支撑结构、铰链与制造精度的整体系整合能力。
