PS6成本飙破千美元？SONY松口不再亏本卖股价强升超3.6%

随着记忆体与高速储存装置价格持续攀升，市场预期索尼 (Sony) 下一代游戏主机 PlayStation 6 (PS6) 的售价恐将大幅提高。SONY (SONY-US) 周一 (29 日) 强涨 3.65% 至每股 20.43 美元。

最新分析指出，PS6 硬体零组件成本已逼近 1,000 美元，加上索尼近日向投资人表明，不打算再以大幅亏损方式销售主机，意味着新一代 PlayStation 的定价策略可能出现重大转变。
根据 Wccftech 报导，在近期投资人问答会议中，索尼坦言，目前零组件成本大幅上升，公司不可能全数自行吸收，因此已陆续在日本以外市场调涨部分产品售价。
索尼表示：「就定价而言，要完全吸收所有零组件成本增加并不现实，我们已在日本以外部分市场实施价格调整。目前销售仍符合预期，我们不认为这些涨价措施已导致消费需求下滑。」
索尼进一步强调，公司一向不打算以重大亏损出售硬体产品，未来仍将持续观察市场变化，并评估最合适的定价策略。
同时，公司将致力于让消费者充分理解产品在效能、功能与 PlayStation 生态系方面所提供的价值，以支撑产品售价。
市场分析指出，索尼此次表态象征游戏主机产业策略出现转折。过去无论索尼或微软 (Microsoft)，都曾长期透过补贴硬体成本、以低于制造成本的价格贩售主机，借此扩大用户规模，再透过游戏与订阅服务获利。
然而，在记忆体与高速 SSD 等核心零组件价格持续高涨下，索尼似乎已不愿再延续这项策略。
若 PS6 的零组件成本接近 1,000 美元，市场预期其上市价格势必同步攀升，也让外界关注高价策略是否会影响消费者购买意愿。索尼则认为，只要能清楚传达 PS6 在硬体效能、游戏体验及生态系统上的价值，消费者仍愿意接受较高售价。
另一方面，微软 Xbox 主机同样面临成本压力。
《The Game Business》日前报导，Xbox 策略长 Matthew Ball 表示，目前 Xbox 主机需求仍远高于供给，公司正全力提升产能并增加铺货，但供应能力仍受到限制，部分市场甚至仍处于缺货状态。
此外，《The Verge》报导指出，Xbox 将自 8 月 11 日起再次调涨售价。其中，512GB 机型将调涨 100 美元，1TB 机型调涨 150 美元。
调整后，Xbox Series S 起售价将提高至 499.99 美元；无光碟机版 Xbox Series X 售价将升至 749.99 美元，而配备光碟机版本则将来到 799.99 美元，反映游戏主机市场正面临前所未有的成本压力。
