美国总统川普26日（周六）凌晨在社交媒体Truth Social发布了一张荷姆兹海峡的图片，并将其命名为「川普海峡」。
据《美联社》报导，这是伊朗提出新协议后，川普首次公开表态。在第81届联合国大会期间，伊朗提出了一项「七天停火路线图」计划。
根据该提案，伊朗承诺在七天内重新开放荷姆兹海峡，并重启核谈判，条件是美方解除伊朗港口海上封锁。美方的封锁措施对伊朗造成严重经济打击。
据《华尔街日报》报导，消息人士透露，川普拒绝了这项停火提议。
多名匿名美国官员说，川普虽公开宣称德黑兰正在「乞求达成协议」，但他在私底下对伊朗是否会真正满足其在核计划上的全部硬性要求仍持怀疑态度。
他告诉幕僚，预计将在美国11月国会期中选举后重新恢复对伊朗的军事轰炸。
白宫25日仅表示，美国官员正与调解人就伊朗战争问题进行积极和建设性对话。本周早些时候，伊朗与美国举行数小时间接会谈。
