对台积电下战书！三星电子：2029年晶圆代工客户将增至2017年的4倍左右

南韩三星电子周二(29日)释出晶圆代工中长期扩客目标，代工事业部高层卢美贞表示，以2017年该业务首度独立法人为基准，目前客户数已增至约3倍，预计2029年进一步达到约4倍，由现有以行动装置为主转向AI与高效能运算(HPC)扩张。
《韩联社》报导，HPC相关占三星电子营收比重2017年仅5%，如今升至28%，公司目标2029年冲到66%，届时HPC客户数占整体客户逾半，营收贡献也将远超一半。
卢美贞指出，AI加速器、伺服器CPU、GPU及相关先进节点需求，是代工订单重心，三星会把5奈米以下、GAA先进制程与先进封装一并推向HPC客户。
业界人士解读，三星代工过去客户集中于自有手机与部分外部移动晶片，先进制程良率与接单稳定性长期受关注，如今喊出2029年客户4倍、HPC占比66%，等于直接向台积电AI代工版图抢单，后续关键在2奈米GAA量产时程、SF2/SF3系良率、多客户tape-out数量，以及HBM、CXL、先进封装协同接单能力。若客户多元化达标，三星代工可望降低对手机周期依赖；若先进制程良率与产能利用率落后，HPC占比目标仍可能面临下修压力。
