宏达电携手Mobicom、台扬深化国际5G OpenRAN合作

宏达电(2498-TW)旗下G REIGNS，今(30)日宣布，携手蒙古国行动通讯电信商 Mobicom Corporation LLC (Mobicom)及台扬(2314-TW)，成功完成5G StandaloneOpen RAN于蒙古国的实网部署，在幅员辽阔、低人口密度及严寒气候等具挑战性的环境下，进一步拓展5G Open RAN于广域网路、偏乡宽频及固定无线接取等应用。
蒙古国地广人稀，部分地区受地理环境、人口密度及基础建设条件限制，如何以更具弹性与效率的方式扩大网路覆盖，是当地通讯建设的重要课题。此次三方将 5G Open RAN 网路导入实际偏乡场域，在真实使用环境中完成部署与测试，最远稳定服务覆盖约 7公里，连线成功率超过 99%；相关设备亦在蒙古严峻冬季环境下维持稳定运作，展现 5G Open RAN 网路面对广域、低人口密度及特殊气候条件的部署弹性与可靠度。
相较于传统由单一设备商提供完整网路系统的模式，5G Open RAN 网路透过开放介面，让电信商可依不同市场及场域需求弹性整合不同供应商的技术与设备。对于幅员广大、人口分散或网路建设条件相对受限的市场，更有机会依据实际需求规划网路架构，提升建置与后续扩充的弹性。
本次合作由 G REIGNS 提供 5G Open RAN CU/DU平台及系统整合能力，并导入网路管理与效能优化功能；台扬科技提供高效能户外无线电设备，支援广域覆盖及FWA应用；Mobicom则结合其在蒙古长期累积的电信网路建置及营运经验，负责当地场域部署、测试与网路优化。三方透过跨国、跨供应商合作，共同验证 5G Open RAN 在真实网路环境中的稳定性及部署能力。
随着全球行动通讯产业由 5G Advanced 持续朝 6G 演进，AI原生、开放架构、软体化及多供应商互通正成为下一世代通讯的重要发展方向。对 G REIGNS 而言，此次蒙古实网部署不只是单一场域的技术验证，更进一步累积在不同国家、地理环境及营运条件下的网路部署经验，持续深化国际 Open RAN 布局，并为未来更开放、智慧且具高度弹性的下一世代网路奠定实务基础。
本次计划依据美国国家电信暨资讯管理局公共无线供应链创新基金NOFO2 计划推动。G REIGNS、Mobicom 与台扬科技将持续深化合作，进一步拓展偏乡宽频、FWA 及更多特殊通讯环境应用。
