辉达(NVDA-US) 与主要客户之间的关系向来微妙。如今，这家晶片大厂最新动作包括投资AI领域的竞争对手，以及将成本上涨转嫁给客户，可能让双方关系更加紧张。

综合近期报导，辉达正进行两笔重大 AI 投资，此举延续了其精明的策略，即利用庞大的现金流资助 AI 开发商，借此避免过度依赖少数客户。
《华尔街日报》上周引述文件及知情人士报导，辉达近期一项交易涉及斥资 60 亿美元，取得 AI 新创公司 Poolside 的技术授权，并延揽该公司大部分工程师。
这项交易将大幅强化辉达自行开发「开放权重」（open-weight）AI 模型的布局。这类模型允许任何人下载、修改，并在自己的基础设施上运行。
此举可能削弱市场对 OpenAI GPT 或 Anthropic Claude 等先进模型的需求，但同时也有望加剧市场竞争，进而推升对辉达硬体的需求。
科技媒体《The Information》报导，辉达也考虑投资 AI 新创公司 Perplexity，估值达 300 亿美元。辉达过去已投资 Perplexity，后者去年 9 月一轮募资时，据报估值约为 200 亿美元。
投资人并非始终认同辉达扮演 AI 生态系「银行」及主要创投金主的策略。不过，《巴隆》认为，这是辉达有效运用多余现金的聪明做法，能以相对有限的风险，确保长期市场需求。
除了资助竞争对手，辉达还可能因涨价进一步惹恼客户。彭博上周末引述消息人士报导，辉达已通知部分最大买家，由于记忆体成本上升，搭载其 AI 晶片的伺服器价格预计自明年初出货起调涨逾 15%。
在本周财报公布前夕，辉达采取行动捍卫营收与利润率，股东可能乐见其成；即使代价是公司得面对一些不太愉快的客户沟通。
