「五眼联盟」是世界最大情报组织，作为成员国，英国这一次盯上了中国拖拉机。
据英国《每日电讯报》4日（周五）报导，一份专家报告指出，中国可能利用拖拉机及其他联网农业机械对英国农户展开间谍活动。
这份报告由英国工党议员格雷姆·唐尼领导的安全技术联盟（CST）发布。
报告提到，英国食品生产暴露于隐性安全风险之中，而这种风险就嵌入全国农场使用的工具里；中国晶片现已普遍用于农机，包括GPS导航拖拉机、农业无人机和自动灌溉系统。
这份报告强调，与中国有关联的组织若侵入农业设备，可窥探英国农场产量，并获取有关英国粮食安全的情报。
《每日电讯报》看到的这份CST报告认为，农业部门对中国技术的依赖，对粮食安全构成更广泛威胁。
CST说到具体威胁时，提到了作物产量、生产预测和牲畜数量等，称这些间谍活动将使中国能够识别英国食品生产系统中的压力点。
报告呼吁英国内阁部长将联网农业技术视为新兴国家韧性威胁，并制定战略，减少对高风险、受外国控制的通讯组件的依赖。
