随波斯湾地区冲突持续干扰航运，阿曼能源暨矿业部长Salim Al-Aufi周一(14日)于曼谷举行的 Gastech 国际天然气会议上表示，天然气业界急需开辟替代出口路线，使液化天然气(LNG)运输能绕过荷姆兹海峡。
Al-Aufi呼吁，应透过向北运输、经过阿曼或行经叶门等多元管道，分散资源输出的风险。
荷姆兹海峡在正常时期承载全球约五分之一的 LNG 供应。战事凸显了海湾国家过度依赖单一水道的风险，促使各国寻求应变策略以维持经济运作。目前，阿布达比国家石油公司(Adnoc Gas)正考虑在海峡外兴建全新 LNG 出口设施；而阿曼东部现有的一座 LNG 出口厂则不需经过这一海峡。
尽管当前供应链受干扰，Al-Aufi部长认为荷姆兹海峡的航运中断仅属短期现象，预期中长期局势将逐渐恢复稳定。
