全球知名家居连锁企业宜家（IKEA）1日（周二）宣布，由于消费者信心持续低迷，将在20多个欧洲国家对约1,500种产品降价15%至25%，各国降价幅度略有不同。
宜家将为此次降价活动承担总额12亿欧元的成本。
宜家品牌实际持有者英特宜家集团首席执行官雅库布·扬科夫斯基表示：「坚信这不是一次性行动，我们会继续这样做，这是一项长期承诺。」
他说道，宜家的一体化供应链使其在欧洲降价更为容易，零售商也将投入7,000万欧元在美洲和亚洲降价。
尽管近期欧洲消费者信心略有回升，但消费者信心仍处于三年来最低水准。宜家历来通过调整产品设计、组装方式和缩小尺寸来延缓降低产品价格。
但欧洲和美国近年来原材料和物流成本大幅上涨，宜家被迫采取更激进降价行动，以继续向顾客提供负担得起的家具。
