黄金周二(22日)再度走低，市场强化对联准会(Fed)采取限制性货币政策的立场，而交易员也密切关注中东冲突发展。

黄金现货下跌0.2%，报每盎司4336.21美元。
美国黄金期货收低0.2%，报每盎司4376.40美元。
美元兑六种主要货币小幅走高，延续上周Fed升息后的涨势。美元上周累计上涨逾1%，当美元走强，以其他货币计价的投资人购买黄金的成本会跟着上升。
道明证券(TD Securities)全球大宗商品策略主管Bart Melek表示：「问题仍在于，尽管油价近期有所下滑，但市场仍强烈反映Fed升息预期……过去几天美元略有走强，而这通常对金价不利。」
Fed上周已升息，Fed主席华许(Kevin Warsh)也暗示，未来几个月可能还会进一步升息。
根据芝商所(CME)FedWatch工具，交易员目前认为Fed 12月升息的机率达90%。
市场聚焦货币政策紧缩。圣路易联准银行总裁穆萨列姆(Alberto Musalem)及芝加哥联准银行总裁古尔斯比(Austan Goolsbee)均释出讯号，认为Fed需要进一步升息，以压低受到强劲需求及能源价格上涨推动的通膨。
自伊朗战争2月底爆发以来，能源价格上涨加剧市场对通膨的疑虑，迫使全球各国央行采取限制性货币政策立场。这使金价承受压力，自今年1月创下每盎司5594.82美元的历史新高后，已下跌逾22%。
尽管黄金传统上被视为通膨避险资产，但在高利率环境下，由于黄金本身不孳息，相较于能产生收益的资产，黄金的吸引力会下降。
受波斯湾供应前景改善影响，油价周二跌至两周低点。伊朗释出讯号，可能在七天内重新开放荷姆兹海峡，与此同时，沙乌地阿拉伯也准备恢复从延布港(Yanbu)出口原油。

现货白金上扬1%，报每盎司1816.22美元。
现货钯金下跌0.7%，报每盎司1291.69美元。
